No reason not to believe this as this information has been revealed by Windows insiders like Paul Thurrott, at least with Outlook but this the first I’m hearing about Publisher.

But its coming, that why Windows 8 is focused on tablets and touch. People have been writing off Windows for many years and it’s been an occupational hazard for a lot of them. I think it’s fool hearty to think that Microsoft can’t get hybrid computing working well and on devices at the right price.

Mac sales were down over 20% in the quarter prior to the last to Apple’s quarterly statement and PCs were down only about 6%. So over the last two quarters PC and Mac sales have declined about the same.
