If the person you’re messaging doesn’t use iOS, it’ll just send it as an SMS message without any action by you. It’s pretty seamless.

I never used NFC or any weird S-features.

On paper, yes. But I have no problems with the speed of the iPhone 5.

a bigger battery

I thought the GS3 had pretty good battery life (weirdly, it was better for me on the Jellybean update of Touchwiz than CM10 or AOKP), but I definitely am getting better battery life on the iPhone.

Overall, when you pick up either phone, the iPhone does feel a lot more premium. I almost think the 4/4S feels better than the 5…

I was using a GS3 up until a week ago, then switched to an iPhone 5. I was blown away by the fact that I paid the same price for both devices, yet one feels so much better than the other.

Make moving the cursor between letters more precise like Android

Agreed! I just switched from Android to iOS a week ago and this is frustrating.

Also, why can’t I long press a letter and get a corresponding symbol/number like the Android keyboard? That seems like a no-brainer.

The keyboard has lagged behind and played the key sound effect late ever since iOS 4.

What phone are you on? I’m on a new 5 and I haven’t noticed any sound lag.
