I watched the video, but I didn’t read the article except for the first paragraph or so, and the two bullet points that stood out. Too long for this print format. I doubt anyone’s opinion on the subject would have been changed. Lazy? Sarcastic? Yes and yes.

I still don’t understand the 768-pixel height limit. I understand there are more 768 pixel high displays, but 720p was sold as “HD” for a while. I’d think a 48 pixel compromise would have included a lot more existing devices…

I mean, there is no reason to have five OEMs making 5" touch-only Nexus phones… I think it’s better to have different types of devices.

This makes sense. My scenario would be
1) one touch-only phone
2) one physical keyboard phone
3) one mid-size (7") tablet
4) one large-size (10") tablet with keyboard attachment
5) one TV
Or something like that.
