Either go with a funky one word name like “Listen”, or

I think they will have a device announcement separately before the fall. I think Google decided that IO13 would not be a place for device announcement (except for Nexus S4).

However, they have 1) a new Android release to go on 2) rumored new Nexus 7, and I can’t believe they won’t have a new phone at $350 or so. I think they will definitely have a separate device announcements.

I think “should” is the keyword. From the wording, I think internally there was a confusion on making things work without network and probably some group took a shortcut of making things fail without network. I am sure we will see early “bugs” for the paid “beta testing”…

The only problem with Feedly is that its backend is Google Reader at the moment. So when Google Reader shuts down, Feedly won’t work (although I hear that they are trying to replace the backend).
