Then why not add a pause button? Why block that? I see them wanting people to play their ads but it makes no sense to allow zero adjustments for that 30 seconds. Its a bad thing to force full volume then not give the option to pause that so the user can react to that. My only reaction at moment is closing the news article in which im reading becuase of the lack of controls. Kinda stupid to make the user do that…

Adblock does nothing for the commercial before show. Im not sure if you think my writeup was about other ads, but its about the video ones. You click the video, an ad plays, then you can watch the content. Adblock while great for popups and such wouldnt do anything about the video ones. I dont have adblock installed becuase i dont mind the other ads, its the intrusive video ones that im having trouble with.
