IE10 mostly then Opera and Firefox.
I think most of the functionality that are now present in most browsers were taken from Opera.
I like Firefox but it is memory hungry and if one of the tabs is hanging, you can’t kill it because firefox groups the tabs as part of one RAM usage. Basically killing it would kill all of your firefox tabs.
I really like IE10 in Windows 8 either the Metro or Desktop (even with non touch unit), it’s lightweight and efficient.

I laugh at pushing Nokia to go Android. It only means android users are not happy with the other OEMs.
Nokia was right in choosing Windows Phone. It’s different and Nokia wants to be a part of something different. WP8 is gaining market share, slowly yes, but gaining nonetheless. Now major mobile carriers are covered with Nokia lumias and 928 and 925 are great looking phones.
Had they chosen android they would be like HTC in the back burners of Samsung just because Samsung was there first. Think about Google’s action against Microsoft nowadays, no support for Google services in WP8 and the Youtube app problem. They’re wary with WP8 because like them it can be delivered across all OEMs and Nokia is WP8’s Samsung and now that it has massively gain a year to year change, that would keep them on their toes.

full web access is different to a customize youtube app designed for mobile use. I bet that this has something to do with Google afraid of Windows Phone gaining market share since like them they cater to every OEM. Unlike, Apple which creates their own and can easily be toppled because they only cater it as a premium device.
I mean it’s so obvious just look at the Google services on Windows Phone, it’s close to unusable. Just like Microsoft, holding their ace in Office for iOS and Android.

Warning though 620 will not receive the FM radio update in case you’re interested in listening to FM. If you can stretch your budget for a couple of bucks you can get the 720 which has by far the better camera just think of a scaled down 920 but it is still better than the 900 or even the 820.

Your argument is silly. Viruses in windows has been relatively few and rare since Windows 7. Besides Windows 8.1 is free, I don’t have the link but it was already confirmed. Chromebook has been around longer than Surface RT. Plus, Surface was only available through Microsoft stores in the USA and it isn’t available anywhere. Yet, it still received bigger sales than Chromebooks. Only this past month that they’ve become available from others stores and worldwide.
Chromebooks stigma is that it is a glorified browser wrapped in a notebook.

Microsoft lost the mobile war
Pessimistic people always lose. If Microsoft gave up when Apple was already popular in the 80’s they would not have come up with Windows which now owns roughly 90% or more of every PC out there and aside from the huge enterprise software that they offer which Apple is a close to nonexistent in the enterprise game.
No, they may have lost the initial battle but the war is still on. Smartphones and mobile devices are still new. It took Microsoft decades before they could overtake Apple before. Microsoft did the right thing by unifying all of their devices into one experience as early as now so that in a few years they could achieve a seamless experience from all of the devices that they support.

People like you are pretty much comprises the uninformed and gullible ones. You do know that hardware is only part of the overall performance. Coz the other one is the software and yes these are your apps and whatnot. If your software is not utilizing your greatest hardware like octacore cpu it would be meaningless.
That’s the main reason WP8 differentiates with Android coz the former is an efficient OS. You will likely have a uniform experience from the entry level to flagship devices when using WP8 devices.

Well we don’t know if they’re already influenced.
I get it that people are surprised by the huge difference between 7 and 8, and there initial reaction might tend to go on the negative end but when you try to be an open mind you’ll realize that Windows 8 is a lot better than 7.
For example, when you press the physical power button Windows 8 manages all of your opened apps and closes them appropriately. Start Screen is not really ugly and useless, I for one like how organize searching is. There are hidden gems in Windows 8 and there are also things that need to be fixed hence Windows 8.1 and so on.
Microsoft is just positioning themselves for the future.

If you ask people who were told by “power” users or read a tech blog filled with negative criticism they will most likely don’t like it as well.
But for those people who just try and experience Windows 8 minus the negative aura that has been created. It’s actually a good experience and a much lighter and faster OS than Windows 7.
