I’m willing to bet a healthy percentage of cavemen died from their diet. This would include food poisoning, starvation, and malnutrition.

Thats all part of living in an organized society. Not sure why you choose to bring this up as this sort of regulation is a safety issue. Those quotes aren’t once size fits all.
Also does anyone else see the irony that by going legit and getting a firearm manufacturer’s license defense distributed proved that regular citizens can print guns legally in the current system.

I think the idea is to regulate it. The same way we do for any military hardware like grenades and rockets.
You can bet that they are testing 3d printing in those fields as well.

I think you are commenting on the guy above but I agree. Apple likes good design and has been known to steal it from time to time. When they get caught is pretty expensive.
Always reminds me of this Picasso Banksy quote:

They looked like this. The expensive ones were not ugly in any way.
The minimalist design aesthetic was a very new thing for a company like braun. Thanks to their adoption of new materials and plastics they were able to make products which still seem timeless today.
By the way this thing cost $400 when it came out.

Am I the only one who has the opposite problem? All my iMessages come in fine but the only time I have trouble is when I get a group message from an android friend. I get a single message from him then any reply shows up as an independent thread.

The Verge:
Here is an interesting article about a successful tech entrepreneur and his aspirations to make mobile payment easier for everyone.
Verge Comments: Lets talk about how douchey he looks and make fun of his beard & glasses.
I think mobile payments are going to be a huge industry. LevelUp is getting a lot of traction where I am and I can see something similar really changing day to day life.

They do pretty in depth display tests in the newer reviews and compare them to other displays.
“I think HTC continues to do a much better job than all the other Android OEMs, but only Apple is really taking things seriously here and taking the couple of dollar hit to have each panel calibrated.” http://www.anandtech.com/show/6747/htc-one-review/10
“Professional photo gives the big gamut with a white point closer to ‘Movie,’ which is to say around 7000K, but it doesn’t fundamentally change the still-present oversaturation or color management issue that exists in Android with these wide gamut displays.”
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6914/samsung-galaxy-s-4-review/8
tldr: both the HTC One and GS4 have great displays but they still aren’t as accurate out of the box as an iphone 5.

If you’re looking at an appleTV you can buy AirParrot which will let you airplay from your laptop. Video can be a little choppy depending on your network though.
If you’re looking at streaming mp4/mkv you can airplay those to an apple tv but its not usually ideal. If you have a ps3/xbox you can use ps3 media server to create a dnla server. This will share the folder you tell it to and transcode them on the fly. If you want to get more fancy you can use Plex which will organize them for you by show and add details and art to movies. Plex will also create a DLNA connection and share photos.
You can also use Plex witha Roku if you don’t have a xbox/ps3. It will organize and transcode all your shows and the newest transcode is very efficient. There is a hack to get Plex on the gen2 appleTV but its kind of a pain and they don’t sell them anymore so roku is the cheapest way to go.
I ended up going from PS3 media server + PS3 > AppleTV + Plex > Roku + Plex > Home Theater PC + Plex
The Apple TV + Plex was my favorite way to go because it was simple and worked grate but I ended up switching to Roku for 1080 but missed being able to airplay. The newest version of Plex for the PC has Airplay built in so I am using that now.

Or if you’re using a mac the drivers are native in 10.7+ just plug it in with USB hit the home button and it will automatically add it to your bluetooth devices and map all the keys.
