agree that notifications need an overhaul. The music app is wonderful, no idea what your talking about. Live tiles are complicated enough, there are many that have numerous animations, what are you talking about? The volume stuff definitely needs a solution.
But getting rid of text running off screen, is possibly the dumbest suggestion i have ever heard. It is fundamental to how the OS works, The OS would make no sense at all without it.
I think it will be a waiting game.. there really isn’t much that can be done, until WP is a major player, the apps just won’t be a priority. WP will succeed, if microsoft is willing to throw enough money at it for long enough.
I have found i don’t need so many of the apps available on other platforms, as windows phone has a bunch of features and Nokia has piled a fair few on top of that.. However, it would be nice if some of the big ones come sooner rather than later, surprising lack of games too. The OS is too good not to use, lol.. well, its enough to tide me over until developers get on board, or microsoft pays them enough to get on board, or microsoft makes more of the apps themselves.
its refreshingly clean and consistent. game changer for me. It is very much a forward looking design ethos. I can;t stand android and its ugly convoluted design.
The only problem i can see with windows phone, is a lack of apps. The OS, in my opinion is by far the best system currently available. Not as restrictive as IOS and not as fragmented and fustrating as android. Its beautiful, very easy to use, slick and fast. Windows phone hate is getting pretty old
