Facebook has to kill its mobile app clones just like Apple killed the Mac clones.

To monetize mobile, Facebook will have to kill the clones of its Facebook App. This way, Facebook can then sell ad space on its mobile app.

Zuckerberg: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Suckers. I own so much of Facebook, I can run it like a private company. It doesn’t matter what the board or shareholders think. I’m laughing all the way to the bank.

I think the RIM/Motorola compromise is essentially adding a notch to Apple’s design. That is a great idea to which Apple may eventually agree.

Arggggh. I would hate to lose hardware ethernet. Wireless is just too slow.
Losing the DVD/CD drive also means losing the option of having TWO SSDS – in RAID-0 configuration for twice the speed of one SSD and twice the storage.
A single Thunderbolt is not enough since many peripherals do not allow daisy-chaining.
I hope Apple doesn’t lose functionality with the next generation of Macs. The MacBook Airs are compromise machines.

FIVE months is a reasonable time. It could even be considered fairly quick for Android. After all, most Android phones are still running versions that are 1-2 years old.

Security in Mac OS X is the same as with UNIX. It gets even better with OS X Mountain Lion.
Realize that installing 3rd Party Platforms – like JAVA, FLASH, and Microsoft Office for Windows – opens up GAPING security holes in any operating system that the operating system’s creator has little to no control over.
The answer to improving security is to REMOVE any 3rd Party Platforms.
For example, Windows is MUCH more secure if you remove JAVA, FLASH and Office for Windows.

If you remove 3rd Party Platforms – such as JAVA and FLASH – which open up gaping holes in security, then Mac OS X has ZERO Malware.
Even with JAVA and FLASH, Mac OS X has ZERO Viruses and Worms. It is susceptible only to Trojans.
Compare this to Microsoft Windows. Windows has hundreds of thousands of viruses, worms, trojans and other malware. Windows also is susceptible to JAVA and FLASH exploits if it has either one installed. Windows, further, has WORD and Office viruses – which don’t work on Mac OS X.
