Does the Galaxy S 3 look like an improvement on the Pentile HD AMOLED technology we’ve seen in the Galaxy Nexus? From my time using a Google Play Galaxy Nexus, I noticed it doesn’t quite look as fantastic looking at it in low light/low brightness (like reading in bed) compared to an IPS LCD display. Grainy, bandy, and not quite great at looking at web pages or anything with a substantial amount of whites on it.
Have you noticed that on the Galaxy S III? or the Galaxy Nexus? Do you find use your phone enough on low brightness to consider it an issue? Is it?

The problem I have with this review is there are so few references to the Galaxy Nexus as its predecessor device and more of a compare/contrast with the HTC One X.
It’s like having an iPhone 4S review without a single mention of the iPhone 4 and they kept bringing the Samsung Galaxy S II into the article, which wasn’t the case, because a lot of people, except for the blind and mentally handicap, could draw a conclusion that it looked exactly the same. I’m not saying the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy S III look the same … but they’re made by the same company and have some of the same characteristics, features, and screen technology.
This entire review doesn’t really draw out an conclusions, just dances around them. Without a review going overboard in self-indulgence, as a reader and a buyer, I want to know if a Galaxy Nexus (which is now, technically, on all major US carriers) stacks up. This review didn’t do that for me.

It’s unacceptable as a customer to already come to that compromise. Don’t support tiers. Period.

Key word is “could” be healthy, be beneficial, increase choice, and fairness. It’s a BIG could. Companies and the FCC our vouching on our behalf (the customer) on a $$$ driven assumptions on the common good.

Comcast “raises” their bandwidth cap, announces their onslaught overage plan, doesn’t intend to cap their own VOD services, and now they’ve got Verizon on their side.

They’re basically targeting uninformed customers into purchasing a plan with their selection of used phones. I’m sure Gamestop will tell their retail staff to only stop short of saying it’s absolutely required before someone can walk around with a used iPhone and pin each store with unreachable quotas in order to get them to do it.

T-Mobile offers pre-paid plans starting as low as $30 with 100 voice minutes, unlimited data/texting.
There’s a lot of other T-Mobile/AT&T MVNO choices. Simple Wireless, H2o Wireless, Red Pocket, Jolt, MyBlack, Airvoice, Straight Talk just to get the list started.
