Oh for the love of Buddha… here we go again.
Seriously, these “web celebrities” are bigger yentas than the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
First, this idea of “Nice Guy Dan”, yeah, you can get over that one. That guy doesn’t exist. Don’t mistake a pleasant personality on a podcast for being a nice guy. There’s a reason why Dan keeps losing shows.
As for Gruber, calling that guy a writer is like calling Kid Rock a composer. Gruber is just a blogger who in this man’s internet, finds that most people would just be happy that someone reads their work, but this first class douche actually compares himself to The New Kids on the Block as he does the passive/aggressive dance about all of his “Internet Groupies” being cheesed about how he left their favorite podcast. Please, Macalope, your shtick is getting old now.
For people whose only claim to fame is that a bunch of Apple nerd technology geeks might recognize them at the Macworld conference, they certainly seem to have an incredibly high opinion of themselves.
