I’m pretty sure Ireland are looking at this as a good thing for them. Ireland created a good business environment with lower tax rates. So Google use that opportunity to have there main campus there. All sales go through Ireland.
Do you go out of your way to pay more tax than needed? I don’t think so. If you were given a tax cut you would jump on that opportunity and businesses do the same. In fact if you pay the lower tier you are given a tax cut. If the UK wants Google then they will have to create a more welcoming environment, instead they are trying to grasp at straws with no real evidence.

Hi I’ve been waiting for 10 years on Linux. Wondering where Office is? If Microsoft clearly can’t adopt there products onto every platform, straight away then they are clearly being anti-competitive.
Linux has the same market share on personal computers that Windows phone does to smartphones.

Released the APIs?
You can see it all here and you can go to the APIs Console to sign up, which is just flicking a switch and accepting the T&C, which you have to do to use the API.

Did I ever said I want to? I was saying that for him getting off the internet was a way for him to blame the internet for his procrastination, when in fact after getting off he just moved the procrastination onto something else (xbox). Maybe if he was more limited it would have pushed him to do the things he wanted to do in the year.

Yeah so what about if the phone of the future could fold into a smart watch and then you could take it off unfold it to become a tablet and then when you wanted to make a phone call have it phone sized?

Yeah I completely agree, when I watched the video and saw he was playing xbox games I was just thinking maybe he should have done a year without technology (except maybe a basic phone), than a year without the internet.
