Hahahahaha, right? Not as bad as the default rainbow gradient though. I’m changing it as I type.

If the torrent is from a legitimate source, like say Humble Bundle or Canonical, you are perfectly fine. There is nothing to be worried about there.
If you’re talking about warez and stuff on places like TPB and KAT…
Could someone be looking at who’s downloading it? Yes.
Could it be infected with malicious files? Yes.
Stick to downloading stuff where comments are available. Also use a client that lets you look at the folder before starting the torrent. Most of the good torrents AREN’T in rar/zip files BTW.

On the left, auto-hide, and I don’t know what animations. I don’t use the minimize feature, I prefer just to hide stuff.

I prefer to just use Alfred mostly though.

Yeah, I get that too.

I think the problem with this is that it’s going backwards and Apple wouldn’t integrate it this late in it’s existence. I mean, I like the idea, but then if I needed access to an iWork document on my phone, I could just save it in iCloud. With the growing number of apps getting iCloud support each week, it would make it redundant by the time it shipped.
Nice mockups though.

Great. I’m really glad that we got the chance to do this. I really hope that people actually watch the resulting seasons of these shows too, otherwise it was a complete waste of time. I know I’ll be watching.

I would not get the Mini or the Air and instead go for the Pro.
Photoshop CS6 needs 8GB or more due to the new 3D features. You can go without it though.
Keep in mind that OS X Mountain Lion has a lot of memory issues too. 4GB isn’t enough for the stuff you want to do, you’ll get frustrated with all the page outs. Another reason why you need to consider 8GB.
And I would really consider a 15". I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and I find the 13" pretty small. The resolution is so small compared to pretty much every other device I have, and it’s pretty sad. Even my Apple Display from 1999 has overall more workspace than the 13".
But yeah, wait for the refresh.

I usually get like two-three days, and that’s when I actually use it. The screen is not a battery hog on this like on my S2.

I beg to differ.
The real problem is the fact that carriers treat the low end phones like any other Android device and use a similar build of stuff like TouchWiz with just as much bloat.
I’ve had my Huawei Fusion 2 for two months now. The phone is pretty stock Android, but it was still slow as hell with similar problems as yours due to AT&T bloat and other little things here and there. 800MHz is a decent amount of power, the problem is that these phones are set to use 100 as a minimum starting point. When you set it up to use the 800MHz at both min/max with on demand/performance/conservative settings, this thing FLYS.
We have a little community over at the Android Forums, and we’ve managed to get root, an overclocked kernel, CM7.2, AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich, and are focused on fixing some issues with our CM10 Jelly Bean ROM. Sadly the device doesn’t have a source, but it’s similar to other Huawei phones which help.
The butter in Jelly Bean helps A LOT too.
I’m using Chrome, Play Music, Gmail, Glovebox (which is AWESOMEEEEEEE on a screen this small!!!! Totally meant for it really) with no problems.
And yeah, mine is overclocked to like 1116MHz now, MILES better now.

The new update is awesome. I’ve been playing it like crazy. The updated music sounds great, and the changes are cool. I am having a hard time at Marble Zone 3, and I never had that issue.

It’s very hard to make a full featured game that isn’t 1GB+. Games like Horn and Lili are great, but they take up a good chunk of the limited space on these devices.
And yeah, you can’t just throw touch in just for the sake of it. You don’t want the controls themselves to be a problem.

I don’t understand how this is a bad thing. But now I understand why Apple charges the way they do and I accept it more after reading that e-mail.

It varies. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Most of us don’t spend all day in there though… Okay, I spend all day in the App Store. But really, it gets better after awhile. It’s growing pains. It might be something they’re working on for iOS7.

Apple doesn’t need to be in the low end to succeed. They just need to keep the quality good. Most people who buy into the low end don’t understand what they’re buying into. They just see that it has apps, a browser, and Netflix. People buy the Chromebooks simply because they’re less than $300 and have a promise of working like any other machine at higher costs for browsing, Facebook, and e-mail.

No problems here, and I’m using a cheapo GoPhone Android, hahaha. Actually, I would even go as far as saying that compared to the web version of the new service, the quality sounds even BETTER on it.
Haven’t tried shuffling on it yet. Have to recreate my library and see.

They have lots of room to improve. I’m not saying I’m not happy with it, but it’s not going to stop me from jumping back to Apple once the iPhone 5S comes out. Especially not when all the good stuff can be downloaded via apps. I like the services, but the ecosystem itself is still lacking.

Okay, first off, it’s OKAY to be trendy. What is NOT cool is being fake. And obviously there are a lot of people who buy the cool and “trendy” stuff just to look like they’re all knowledgable and sophisticated in that department.
My Apple history goes back all the way to a IIe, so no, I don’t buy Apple stuff because they’re “new and cool”. I buy based on brand familiarity and reliability.
