I have only had a play with the NX300 a few times and my first though was it felt very plastic and not as sturdy as the NEX-5, 6 and 7 which all have metal bodies. I can’t really say much on image quality on the NX300 but certainly have never been left unhappy with the performance of my NEX-5 and the newer models just seem to have got better. Seems like a good package that you have been offered for it but have a think about what you will be shooting, I have the 18-55mm, 16mm, fish eye adapter and 55-210mm sony lens for the NEX. The 16mm I use a lot as it keeps the camera nice and small. The 55-210mm I use very little so think how much you would use a 50-100mm.

Got a nex-5 and love it, really nice camera to learn and play with. My next camera will be the nex-6 as would like a viewfinder and if you can afford it I would recommend going for it.

A lot of speculation flying around here but CoffeePenguin does have a point. By installing games on to the harddrive it does away with needing the disk again unless developers can require the disk to be present or as you said deactivate the first install (which makes the most sense really) until the game disk is reinstated in the first xbox, this would allow you to play it at a friends house then still continue with your own game on your own xbox.

Not sure about the red but the plastic does look less cheap than the regular version.

Microsoft why can’t you just compete with chrome by building an awesome browser. I know google is using my details to target ads at me but I would rather have relevant ads than random ones. Google also provides a whole host of top class services which I pay zero for, so let them make a bit of money of it that allows them to bring us more awesome services and technology.
