I think it is becase Motorola is an american company with its headquarters still in america that the ruling was made.

Undecided on the look of the camera with that split top level. Looks nice from the front but from the back it looks kind of ugly especially in pink but that is also a particularly horrible pink.

Not a big flash user so if the camera could be smaller without i would prefer that but I suppose it will appeal to users moving up from compact cameras.
