I still don’t get it about the software buttons… they are still onscreen… almost always present only in a different form (the dots)… IF you can stuck the physical buttons on the bezel (like S4) why waste screen space?!

well there are some limitations… if you have to interact with more than the basic controls you are into some problems, as your hand’s won’t move in the virtual space to flick the virtual buttons.
If it is an arcade sim yes…
I Believe this would fit great on a car sim… with a thrustmaster controler and pedals you don’t really need more buttons… (unless it’s for tunning that radio station!!)

Nop… I am talking about my mac mini running as a server for my domestic office, plex server, itunes and spotiffy… while it is torrenting.
(remember that mac OSx doesn’t run only in macbook airs.)

Well I believe you shouldn’t be buying the car because of the brand association, but because the extras that they bring to the table…
I remember a VW polo Quicksilver that brought Surf board thinggies to put on the top…
And its not only VW and Nissan. As the idevices all have one adapter, placed in the same spot, it is easier for brands to “create” a phisical place/dock for this equipment… and don’t forget that it isn’t VW and Nissan making the stereo… it’s still phillips, Bowers and willkins :P and etc that provide the equipments for integration.
