I have had periods of using just Linux on my personal PC to using just Windows (and periods of using both). I respect the advantages and disadvantages of them both. Unlike most, I like Windows 8, and that is what I am running on my personal laptop and my new Surface Pro. However, Linux is great, and I’ll probably install it on a machine soon in some form (Ubuntu or other). There is no “best,” but rather, pros and cons to each.
