After seeing the presentation for the GSIII I made my decision and got the HTC One X from AT&T this past Sunday. I even ate the Verizon ETF in order to do it.

I just got an HTC One X from AT&T this Sunday, and so far it is the best phone I’ve ever purchased. Highlights include:

- Gorgeous Screen
- Battery Life (unlike my prior phones!)
- Camera (burst mode is great, being able to easily select stills from a video is great, tons of options)
- Sense 4 is lighter than past versions. I actually like their additions to ICS.
- Very fast & smooth scrolling between screens, animations, etc..

I’d recommend you go to an AT&T store and see if you can hold one of these and a Nexus in your hand, and take some time to look at the screen on each. If at all possible ask to hold ones that are not hooked to those annoying tethers. It’s hard to get a good sense of weight and hand-feel with those attached.
