Firstly, I commend you guys on being open about your pitch policy. It’s actually rare to find out about publications’ pitch (and payment) policies. +1 for that!

Secondly, great, awesome, thorough detailed pitch submission guidelines. I get this question all the time, so now I have some place to point people to.

“Hero’s”

Damn iPhone.

Holy yes! One of the best classic adventure series! I still have the box for “Hero’d Quest” sitting on my shelf somewhere. Time to clear out my Friday night!

It’s not an uncommon practice. Activision did not have a booth at E3 for two years in a row, hosting just a small meeting room to show off their products two years ago.

Smart way to reduce cost, yet still reach the people you need to reach.

The ability to create “communities”. Local friends, sub groups, etc. Also, maybe sub-categories in the forums, just a couple.

Also, regular/feature conversations with the staff. “Ask and Editor” or “Russ’s Weekly Beer Chat”. They can be gaming related, but something that can lead to great conversation and is maybe scheduled. :)
