How is this a ‘marketing strategy’? This is pure wild speculation by ‘analysts’. I’d wager they don’t have a shred of information on which to base their claims – rumour is flying about a four-inch screen, they’ll say there’s a four-inch screen to make press. Likewise, name-dropping Jobs makes press. Fairly certain there’ll be no mention of Steve direct from Apple at all in regards to this product, or any others.

Well, it is.
Being able to have a ‘pane’ open for say Mail, and another for the work you’re doing, referring over to the emails instead of having to double-tap (or swipe I guess) between open apps would be a godsend for productivity.
