I think there is some misunderstandings how multitasking works on a modern OS. Free ram = useless ram. The OS will keep as much resources it predicts you will use as possible in ram for faster app start up and just faster usage in general. You have to go back to windows XP days to find a time when this did not happen.

I would not consider Google wallet a part of stock android. I think the AOSP code is stock Android. Shipping with extra apk’s would still make it stock.
