The problem for Apple here is they don’t have any leverage. With music, Apple had already taken the world with the hardware by having the iPod and later the iPhone. TV however is different because unlike MP3s people don’t control the TV content in the same way. Making a TV makes sense because if they can make some amazing hardware that gets everyone to buy Apple TVs it may change.

Actually I do post. Unix has far fewer components then Windows, which makes it more vulnerable to exploit. Not a fault of the Unix design per say but concerns were different when it was designed. However, Apple has done nothing to improve this because as stated plenty of times before they are more of a design/hardware company then they are a true software company. It is the same reason that Mac’s couldn’t multi-task until late 90s (and this is coming from someone who had a Mac before it regained its “cool” factor). Steve Jobs was brilliant if for no other reason realizing this, and transforming Apple into a consumer electronic company. Boxing up the Internet’s capability into how it wanted to use it and making an elegant, but very confined electronic devices. I

Funny how the title just says that it is better than Android, but he also says the Apps look better than those in both iOS and Android. Of course, its not like the Verge has an Apple lean, because JT has an Android phone!

Great that Woz can be so objective, pointing out the great things in different technologies. If only the Apple fanboys could follow suit.

Haha of course it is. Here is a shocker, Windows is used by enterprises, so it has had to become increasingly secure (though that road has definitely been rocky along the way).

Apple has never had to worry about this as most of their users are either writing blog posts or editing pictures on an overpriced laptop while sitting in a Starbucks (kidding, well partly).
