Both systems are a bit murky on details but it seems like Sony has a little less smoke and mirrors action going on (to me). That’s why I opted to preorder a PS4.
If Microsoft can just come out and let us know all the details, I may even change preorders. But right now, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Even the whole sharing with 10 people seems very dubious. That’s even a bigger loss of sales than the whole used market since at least Gamefly and etc has to cough up money for said discs where as this sharing feature on Xbox One doesn’t.
As for exclusives? Forza seems cool but unless Logitech makes a steering wheel, I won’t care for it. As for the other exclusive, Titanfall … I recently gave up and installed Origin on my PC to get in on the $5 BF3 deal. Since Titanfall will also come out for PC, this exclusive is moot point for me.
Sad part is that none of us is surprised since Verizon and AT&T usually are in lock step with each other when removing any benefits of staying with them.
Only reason I’m still with Verizon is because of said corporate discount and the fact that I still have an unlimited account. Been paying full retail for some time for upgrades and that doesn’t bother me if it means retaining my unlimited account. If that ever disappears, I’m off to T-Mobile.
