You are talking about Metro. He’s talking about the legacy desktop interface. It is true: Microsoft is afraid to go full Metro.

Inconsistencies with the story? Nothing to do with the ending. Plot lines left unexplained? Nothing to do with the ending. No closure to story lines? Nothing to do with the ending.

And ending is meant to give closure to everything that was given. You can’t blame a series’ ending for not having time to explain every little detail.I think you have to judge an ending based on how well is closes/explains everything that was in fact shown throughout the story, not what it could have. If we do that with every ending, then no ending would suffice.

Lost was a very complex show, and like requiem said, no ending could have done it justice properly. But I believe the one it had came the closest.

How was it shitty? As someone who watched the show entirely from Netflix, I can tell you it was a great ending. If you watched Lost on TV for all those years, then maybe connecting the dots might have been more difficult, but as someone who watched the show in like 2 weeks, it all made sense, and a different ending probably wouldn’t have done it justice.
