I'm a pretty big gadget geek, and can get incredibly excited about new tech, but I also have a pretty low tolerance for products that are poorly designed/just plain don't work well (most gadgets, it turns out).
On the other side of the spectrum, I'm also full on in the maker/DIY camp, Repurposing, hacking, and developing on hardware platforms (whether intended by the OEM or not).
