In English the definition of stealing is as follows: To take (another person’s property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it

Look, you don’t speak English well, so you couldn’t possibly be expected to understand the intricacies of the English language being discussed. Suffice it to say that in English, stealing is both the physical act of taking, and the non-act of failing to return.

This was a very interesting read and I’d love to see more articles like this from The Verge in the future. It really makes me think about how vulnerable people are to this type of crap. It also seems like those individuals engaged in this practice have already begun the process of social proofing against the article.
