I don’t understand why Apple sues over far less obvious copying of their iOS devices, but is letting everyone copy their laptops so exactly.

They are incredibly talented, but they are not adjusting along with the rest of the market in the world of smartphones. They only have $11 B on hand and have barely been making any money recently. That will be troublesome for their future.

I said “could”, by the way. And I don’t see that as being completely out of the question when they only have $11 B on hand and has barely been making any money recently.

Nintendo is looking at this backwards. People don’t want smartphone apps and games on their Nintendo console, they want Nintendo games on their smartphone. Nintendo could charge a premium for their games and people would love them. I know it’s against their way, but if they don’t make a big move like that soon, they could be dead in a year.

Just because the PlayBook flopped doesn’t mean tablets are doomed, Mr. Thor.

As part of BlackBerry’s Developer program, I’ve had one of the 1,500 prototype versions of the Q10, called the Dev Alpha C. I find this review to be fair, but I do have some different perspectives. I think the main feature, the keyboard, to be only for people not used to virtual keyboards. I’m faster on virtual keyboards and virtual keyboards are much better for number and symbol entry. I also find that the display is too small for efficient browsing and it is far too dim. The AMOLED technology makes it look rough and jagged compared to other mobile displays. I also think the camera is very poor overall. But even though BB10 has few good apps and is not yet mature, I think it has a great OS and it is a good device. It feels sturdy and substantial, the wake/unlock gesture from when the display is off is slick, and it has many OS features for productivity, making it a great Bold replacement.

The first iPod I had was the 2nd generation iPod Nano 8 GB. The first song I purchased on iTunes, which, by the way, I haven’t ever listened to, was Vertigo by U2.

Sooo nice for him to be coming back. Hopefully he can spend some time on Vergecraft to see how it’s changed.
