I’m not sure what At&t are doing. They have gophone and their new brand AIO, but only gophone gets LTE? The prices for AIO and gophone are similiar, make up your mind AT&T!

In large cities it is that easy. I grew up in NYC and knew 2 guys I could buy guns from and I was an altar boy. Criminals run with other criminals, getting a gun just costs money.

“.its simply not as simple as just stopping use of those services.”
Sure it is. If you stop using google’s services today, they have some information on you, but they collect no more. After a few years that data is useless for advertisers as you may have moved, changed your preferences for certain items (this happens as you age) etc. If google can’t monetize your information it’s worth nothing to them.

Is it moral for the US government to tax a company for manufacturing and selling their products overseas, when they have paid taxes in the countries where they earned the money? This is just another example of government looking to blame someone, anyone for our fiscal mess. It can’t possibly be the fault of the people elected to make the laws. If we just keep raising taxes everything will be fine. /s

In the case of apple there is not a loophole. They make money outside of the US through directs sales of their products. They pay taxes in the countries where they earn that income, they choose to invest/deposit those funds in those countries. Why should the US government get a cut?

Exactly, they are doing nothing wrong. If apple makes money in France, pays taxes in France and puts the money in a European bank, why should the US government be entittled to tax that income?

Then Tmobile should gain more customers at the expense of Verizon. Every month verizon has people who complete their 2 year contracts. If the cost is too high, those folks will jump carriers. There are many pre-paid options available that can lower your cell bill by up to 50%. I switched from At&t to straight talk with an at&t sim. I pay $48 a month all in, I used my iphone 4(since traded for a nexus 4) and I am getting the same service for $37 dollars less per month. Thereare options out there.
