Just as a follow up I actually had my yearly today and they are pushing this hard at my office. They must have some serious incentive. This was the first time they mentioned the state wide effort to me but we’ve been using Patient Portal for sometime now. Now to go look up my blood tests and see if I have some obscure disease and scare the shit out of myself!
My doctor already uses this service and it is awesome. Every single test, doctor visit, prescription I’ve ever had is on there and you can even submit questions to your doctor through it. It is a little scary because everyone wants to become their own doctor and analyze their own blood test results when they really don’t know what they are doing.
