Nice idea. You can sell the game at the current price instead of waiting till you finish the game and watch the price fall.

Bad idea: buy a brand new game from amazon and then return it the next day, you can practically get a game for free.

I have to go back to my country. Fortunately they paid for my flight ticket (don’t think this is the norm). But I flew back to US the next month with no problem.

Yeah, I just found out that if they forgot to remove your i-90, you have to remove it yourself and throw it away. Learned it the hard way. My admission was denied last winter.

Have you ever used an Android device? Because usually, developers release 2 variations of the same app. One is free ad-supported app, and the other one is paid version (which removes ad).

So, in conclusion, there are 2 ways to avoid seeing ads.
1. You can just buy the paid version app and voila, the ads are gone.
2. Download the free version and use adblock to block ads.

Which one do you think that will steal money from developers? That’s what he meant by “greedy little pirates”

Seriously, what’s wrong with you.

I know that you’re against people constantly praising/backing Google. However, you can’t compare these 2 apps. BWF app only affects Apple and BWF’s developer. Adblock app affects Google and thousand of developers. It’s like apple and oranges.

Are you saying that Google shouldn’t ban adblock and let tons of people stealing money from developers? Imagine if you spent 150 hours on developing an app, and released it to Play Store as both free ad-supported and paid version. At the end of the month, you only get few bucks because those cheap bastards won’t spare a dollar for your app?

Are you gonna be pissed of at those cheapskates or are you gonna be pissed of at Google for not protecting you as a developer?

Or the users can buy the paid version of the apps that usually comes together with the free ad-supported apps. The paid version usually remove ads.

And you really think Google banned ad blockers because they are trying to protect developers’ revenues? Really?? You don’t think maybe they are trying to protect their OWN revenues?

Conspiracy theory much? It is clearly stated in Play Store agreement that developers can earn revenue either through app sales and/or ads. I’m no developer, but I bet all the developers reading on The Verge right now can vouch this for me.
