In the UK all BT Broadband customers get a @btinternet.com email address, which is hosted by Yahoo Mail. They may not be the most active accounts necessarily, but that’s still a large number of people.

Now that’s not a bad idea. Would make switching from Desktop to Start Menu a really quick and smooth process. Shame the mouse looks pretty ugly!
