Or Microsoft should pay google to make the app. There is no reason for Google to have to make the app. The problem is that yes their is an API because Microsoft uses it on the XBox. They are not following the rules for using it. AKA they are busted.
That is because Windows Phone has a tiny marketshare so it is not worth the effort yet.
Plus this is Microsoft we are talking about. The ones that back rolled SCO, the company that is suing everybody and their dog for using Android. Hey they do not offer Office for Android. And yes you are correct everyone would be screaming because Microsoft has been convicted of anti-trust violations!
Well if he did not mean slimy then he should not have used the word. Again how the phone feels in your hand comes down to personal preference.
So lets go over the errors.
He did not mean slimy…
Build quality is not really the issue.
Did not like material choice as far as feel goes.
Did not mention the benefits of Samsung’s choices like a removable battery and micrSD expansion.
As I said the Verge is just a little full of it’s self when it come to “design”, They praised the iPhone4 and 5 when they actually where not really good designs. Both have issues with durability aka the breaking backs of the 4 and the denting and chipping cases of the 5. In other words they confuse fashion with design.
You keep saying that the Samsung line proves that people don’t care about build quality but I do not think you know that that really means.
Yes the Galaxy line uses plastic but have you heard of any of them having the the back of he case case fail like like the iPhone 4 and Nexus 4 line? Dents like the iPhone 5? Molly Wood on Cnet did a ruggedness test of the Galaxy S2 vs he iPhone and guess which one did better?
Yes the One X is a really nice looking phone. But the S4 will probably be more rugged, and has a removable battery and a microSD card slot. People may argue that they do not need microSD card slot but I for one think that having the option is better. The replaceable battery is the big thing feature that you gain with the Galaxy design. As a battery gets older you get less battery life. After a year or two it can be a real issue. An easy to swap battery can keep a phone useful and out of the recycle bin.
I fear that you are confusing, design, build quality, and fashion. And if you really found the S4 slimy maybe you should wash your hands more often.
