i think simple voice control works well on iOS and android, not the more advanced stuff though.

because that means some employees will loose their jobs. Yahoo should be doing better than they are though. I just checked the rankings yesterday and they are still the 4th most visited site on the web.

Agreed. With Swiftkey i can type faster than most people with physical keyboards. IMO, it’s the best keyboard available on any OS.

the only problem with that is that it probably need to be a little bit large to have enough of an attraction. I think part of the reason they are moving to a new connector is to save space.

My guess is they will use another proprietary port. Maybe something that is thunderbolt compatible.

Your exactly right. It is subjective. I just see a lot of people who refuse to admit, that maybe, just maybe, they would prefer a larger phone if they had an option that ran iOS. I believe, in general, the majority of people would prefer a phone about 4 inches given the option.
And to the point that the iPhone outsells any single model of android is really unfair considering Android users have many choices when it comes to getting a model that match their preference. Obviously this will divide up their sells among different devices. That’s why i stuck to comparing a smaller screened android sales to larger screened android phones. It kinda limits the amount of variables.
When this larger iPhone comes out, i think you will see a lot of happy iPhone users that will also prefer the larger size. (the majority probably)

could be perfect if they have some windows 8 integration. metro in horrible for mouse input but would be nice with this. Could be a much better alternative to buying an expensive touchscreen that going to make your arms tired anyway. Seems like pointing wouldn’t create the same fatigue.

It’s about damm time. I know some people that refused to upgrade their old iphones cause they were holding out for a larger screen.

It’s not an issue until you’ve used bigger. People are simply saying 3.5 isn’t the best size for everyone. If Android phones are any indication of the market, it’s clear that people prefer a larger screen size. How many sales do you think a “flagship” android phone would get with a 3.5 inch screen.

This sucks. I happen to be restoring a rom right now. I have the same device in my que like 7 times. I love google music because i dont have enough storage on my phone to store all my music. I guess i could use Amazon’s player, but it’s so fugly. Do they have autoupload on mac? How much do they hold? I have 32 gb of music or about 5000 songs.

I love google plus, but i am a nerd, so it’s user base actually appeals to me. That’s G+’s flaw though. It’s going to be common to get the common person on there.
Here’s an example. Lets look “what’s hot”. 2 of the first 5 are something to do with albert einstein and another is a post from google chrome. Clearly this is niche (kinda my niche though).

agreed. You dont see HP calling them selves hewlett-packard or RIM calling themselves research in motion. If your name is that “complicated” you need a nickname.

I wonder if they are testing this model with hopes to use it on the next Xbox. They may want to sell a system that cost like 800 dollars, but they won’t ever sell a console for that much. A subsidized model is easier to swallow.

It means they should have done a similar OS years ago, but they were too stubborn and stuck in their ways. If they did start this in 2008-2009 they would of had less users flock to iOS and Android. Also, with more users, they would actually have some sort of app ecosytem. I’m saying RIM missed the boat. Thus far, WP7 and WebOS have proven that you can make a amazing OS, but if you don’t have an ecosystem, your far behind.
