It’s definitely amazing that he was reunited with his family with the help of these online services, no doubt. After all, technology was invented to help people in some way. And there is a lot more to this story than what we know, like why didn’t he seek help from his local law enforcement agencies or whatnot, but nevertheless I am just glad he was reunited with his family. I can’t even imagine the happiness of his parents when they found out their son is still alive and well.
That’s my understanding as well. The tricky part was finding out the name of the town from which he was abducted, which was provided to him by the volunteer, not by Google Maps.
Agree. The google maps or any other map out there would have been useless if an actual person hadn’t pointed him in the right direction. Even though the article says “thanks partly to Google Maps”, it still sounds as if the google map was the only reason he was reunited with his family. Although, I dont really care who helped him, i am just glad he was reunited with his family.
