I just want E3 to not suck anymore. I don’t want MS’s conference filled with children petting cats and dogs and bros playing kinect football. I want info about gaming, not about being able to use my 360 for hulu or netflix or whoever their next partnership is with. Give me info on games, give me Halo 4, Deadspace 3, Alan Wake 2, Pikmin 3, RE6, Fortnite, and Borderlands 2.

But most of all I want RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2!!!

Games, that is all.

The first game isn’t essential, but at least play ME2 if not all 3.

You might also like Portal 2 (great story) and Borderlands (FPS/RPG).

Yes its an excellent (and underarated) game.

Nice piece. I guess I’m still able to fully enjoy a game even if I have heard a lot about it or seen how its done critically on metacritic and gamerankings. But yeah, if you seen a lot of previews and reviews and demos you won’t be as shocked in awe when you play it because you already know a lot about it. For me, playing ME3, I wasn’t really impacted by the whole ending thing, sure I knew that many people hated the ending, but all the parts I was playing were awesome, so it didnt really bother me (in the end I didn’t like the ending when I got to it).

I guess just take reviews and metacritic rankings with a grain of salt. They are usefull in seeing what the industry consensus is in general terms, but exact rankings aren’t important. Often Ive bought a game on a recommendation from a friend or someone I know might have similar taste and loved it even though it has only done so-so critically (Alan Wake for example).

I’m not familiar with California law myself regarding what an individual carrying a firearm has to present to a police officer in terms of identification. But really thats besdies the point. Isn’t your article about video recording police officers? He seemed perfectly fine with the guy recording him and putting the clip on yt.

If you want to discuss the ID point, I’m not even sure he did anything wrong their either. Even if citizens aren’t required to provide ID (in any form) him asking for it likely isn’t illegal either, the person can provide it or not at their choosing. His rights only become violated if the officer arrests/hassles him after he declines to present ID.

Just go into Steam and look at the minimum (and suggested) specs for the games you want to play in Steam. You don’t need anything that is a branded gaming device, just whatever has the appropriate internals to run the games you want, so something from any laptop maker would do.

I know my laptop from 2 years ago plays TF2 just fine, and likely L4D and Dota 2 also. But Dirt 3 is too mush for it.

Since youve built before I would say build again, not that theres anything wrong with alienware but youll just get more bang for your buck building.

Sounds cool I guess. Forza had a similair car club thing but it wasn’t that good because it was limited to 100 members, so if polygon had one or whatever you would always be kicking inactive members as they play different games. Hopefully this is better.

If they need to they can always just pump out some Mario and Zelda games to make a quick buck, even if they don’t meet Miyamoto’s artistic standards or whatever. It will keep them afloat.

Nintendo has IP like nobody else. Sony can’t even fill their smash bros games with enough characters, who knows how that will turn out. If anything this (last?) generation would have been the death of nintendo as they are SD and the other are HD. Next gen it will be more even as at the end of the day all three systems will be 1080p full HD, with lower polygon counts and such and such being a minor disadvantage for Nintendo. Tvs will still only be 1080p by the end of next generation so theres no way for Song and MS to pull further ahead.
