I’m hoping at least for a new Nexus 10. Waited too long to pull the trigger to upgrade from my Xoom. If something new is announced tomorrow, I’m all over it.

Uploading RAW images to the cloud doesn’t sound ideal to me, especially if you aren’t on an unlimited data plan.

It’s true, as the original intent of Android was to get Google’s services into as many hands as possible. iOS/Android fanboy wars aside, Google really doesn’t care because they make money regardless.

@ozthecreator for the brief time I spent with iOS, I didn’t like that I had to find a 3rd party app to run GTalk, where on Android it runs natively with minimal battery usage. I also want a fully integrated Google Voice, considering that I ported my main line directly to Google Voice and it’s directing calls (most of the time) to a throwaway number at T-Mobile. Contacts also seemed to sync better on Android, and Calendar worked seamlessly too while I couldn’t get multiple Google calendars to work easily on iOS. I also use Google Wallet on occasion, and in other instances I abuse the crap out of NFC tags (especially in my car).

All in all, I’m not sold being a heavy power Google user on an iOS device. I ended up selling my iPad because it was just collecting dust.

And in all honestly, it’s amazing to see all of Google’s apps and services to work in harmony on an Android device. If you’re in Google’s ecosystem, I would almost say you’re doing yourself a diservice by staying on iOS.
