exactly. personally, i always go for last-years models of graphics cards, never the bleeding edge. that’s just silly and a waste of money.

my motherboard is a few years old, my cpu is a good i7, and my gpu’s are a pair of 660.

My gaming/media rig is Windows 8 and my vm that I do a lot of work in on a daily basis is Windows 8. I have way more experience with it than 99% of consumers. That it takes a Windows 8 expert to understand all the crap going on under the hood illustrates what a mess MS has made of things.

RT itself doesnt have a file explorer though, right? and 8 for sure doesnt have drag and drop in the metro OS
