Hardware, Software, Space and Carbon entities, everything made of Atoms and molecules. The periodic table laid bare, the universal dynamics at the palm of my hand. The Father is the designer that teaches me the secret dynamics of the universe called Technology. Respect nature, it will teach you the secret of Him that is Omni-scient.

haha, we’ll see. You know that where the sheep go the wolfs will follow. Now that IE is no more the most popular, guess where the bots will be feeding. Welcome to reality 2.0.

Eventually, its not us techies who will determine the success of Windows 8, it is the masses who can’t care less how you dive deep into the OS to get things done. They just want an easy to use interface to does 80% of their activities easily, the remaining 20% could be left for those of us that live on the desktop.
If you can’t handle Windows 8, stay for crying out loud on Windows 7. MS had decided this is its future you either deal with it or get left behind. If you guys knows your history, this was the same reaction to iOS when it launched, it was too easy and unintuitive. You know what? The masses decided they liked it. Lets see what happens with Windows 8.

The question is whether this infringe on Kinect’s Patents? Curious to know how they are reacting to this from Microsoft. Anything with Camera and Infrared Sensor is game for litigation I guess.

Wow, Google must be generating a lot of revenue now from the Ad-Data cows. All the best people, some of us will stay with the most secured browser for the time being. Believe it or not, that is IE9/IE10.

For the umpteenth time people, nobody IS BLOCKING Mozilla nor Google from creating Metro Web-browsers, infact they are welcomed to the competition to make Metro environment better. Its all about the desktop on these WoA devices, and trust me, you don’t want to allow everyone to that environment; security wise and performance wise. WoA Desktop is a virtualized desktop, it is NOT Windows Desktop. It will be MS suicide to allow anyone there, they will take the hit for performance and security issues that will result. And given Google’s use of virus technologies to dig deep into windows, I wont trust it either on a WoA device. Secondly, if you allow one, you have to allow ALL. This is simply not tenable.
So, let Mozilla and Google compete with MS on Metro environment and please let them stay out of the Desktop on WoA devices. The Desktop on WoA will eventually go away as soon as MS can deliver Metrofied Office. Hopefully by Win9 timeframe.

I knew Apple was bad for customers, but never expect this level of contempt. But then SteveJ is right, iDrone can’t think for themselves they’ll pay any price Steve asked them to pay. The same reason they are paying $1500 for a laptop they could get for $700.

I think the bane of the problem is data repetition. Just looking at my library here, is shocks me each time to notice how much of the same file I have spread all over the place. MS introduced Single-Storage-System that took care of it for a while in Disk Extender technology in HomeServer, but then they killed it. Hopefully with Windows 8 Storage Spaces this will be back to normal level.
But on global level, we have uncanny ability to store the same data online locally. Look at your video downloads, that copy of the reports you keep locally while it is also on the server somewhere. We repeat data indefinitely and this is the source of our problem. Someone should analyze the ratio of unique data to repeated data in the world, I will not be surprised if its proven 75% of the global data is just repeated data.

I meant in this case Metro feature for reading. Metro was made for reading in its panoramic mode. Not to run Apps but to read materials, eBooks, PDFs, Word Docs etc. With 30 day of battery life nothing beats that for educative application.

Why does everyone seem to miss this glaring difference from Google to the rest?! I think this is most important because it says “we can snoop on you anytime!”:
=============
“We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect Google and our users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like giving you more relevant search results and ads.”
