I agree, they should track a persons lunch proportions and then weigh everyone on the way out of the cafeteria and post their names with rankings on a big LCD. Competition is the way to go.

Did you get this resolved? I have ordered 3 lumias for the family and have not seen any of this. All work perfectly.

Same reason as HTC is not doing well… http://insights.chitika.com/2012/study-htc-market-share-drops-60-in-five-months/
They have to find a way to significantly differentiate their offerings from the market to gain a sizable share. Samsung figured that out. They may very well end up being the big fish in a small pond.

I guess go out of business is the other option. Nokia faced with the option of being a bit player in crowded market or the premium player in a uncrowded one. That combined with Microsoft’s overall platform convergence it could be a good gamble.

Its is risk no doubt but I think the majority of reasonable people believe that unless Nokia did something new they were going down anyway.

Yup its not a guarantee.
Nokia is smart to go with WP7 as be the premium hardware group like Samsung is for Android.

There are like 100+ Million iphones sold, doubtful all of those are in use. i.e. I have 2 in a bin someplace. If you think people at F500 companies use ipads at a high rate you are crazy. I have seen people around with them trying to use them but they all give up, it just doesn’t do what it needs to in the enterprise.
However, there are estimated over 1 Billion computers with Windows on it. They sell 20 Million copies of Windows 7 monthly. These are new computer purchases that will have Windows 8 on them when released. In other words if you are an app developer and you don’t develop for Windows 8 you are crazy.
