I’m a big mac fan and I’ll be the first to say buying an iMac for gaming is stupid for many reasons:
1. The graphics cards are never top of the line and arent upgradable
2. It’s built with laptop parts shoved behind a monitor. Running it pinned at 100% for newer games will wear down the hardware fast.
3. Theyre expensive
Unless you have plenty of money to burn there’s no reason to get a mac for gaming unless your idea of gaming is World of Goo
The pixel is overpriced. 1 TB of cloud storage sounds nice if you have Google Fiber. Flickr now has 1 TB of free photo storage so the value proposition of the included Drive upgrade is falling fast.
I think that’s a given. Congress doesn’t care about getting things right. They care about being reelected and making friends so they can have a smooth transition into lobbying once they get bored of throwing rocks into the gears of progress.
If you’re all in with Google just get a Chromebook. You’ll miss some apps at first but eventually the convenience will overwhelm the disadvantages. You’ll probably have to pay up for Spotify or something of the like.
Apple says Blu-ray is “a bag of hurt” and you expect them to implement these into the camera app? There’s no reason they couldn’t have done this with the iPhone 1 if they actually thought QR codes were a worthwhile technology for consumers. QR codes are for package sorting systems and warehouse inventory tracking.
If it’s so easy they should do it themselves. No wait, they tried and failed miserably. If you can say hosting a massive cloud service is easy, I can say that plucking a few strings on a guitar is easy or negotiating a contract is easy.
