I thought the same when he said there aren’t many games. He obviously he forget he was using Windows 8 and not a iPad or Android tablet (not a bash but just talking about installing software not on a store on the device.)

Yes the promotion of Chromebooks here in the UK has been quite big but still not large uptake. My local PCworld has it own google store inside, it’s always empty.

I’m not sure how wireless charging is going to work with the camera bump on the back, unless the new charging pads allow for it in the design maybe.

Will I buy out my contract for this phone? Maybe..If it’s thinner and lighter than my 920.

It’s meant for developing markets, So cheap to make and cheap to buy. However Nokia’s budget design matches & exceeds some companies premium design.

The Lumia series is not in it 6th round of release. If after the 6th generations of the series got released and it looks pretty much the same of the others then it would become long in the tooth.

Some people still love the iPhone and some people, including me. Got bored and moved along to something else. It does happen.

The iPhone 5 is actually abit of a mess with it’s 2 tone signal design restricted back plate. As with the iPhone 4 & 4S i love the design of the sides but the front it just the same as any other iPhone. There are much prettier phones on the market these days.

The HTC doesn’t actually look anything like the iPhone, or any iPhone that has been made, It’s simply made of aluminium which doesn’t mean it was inspired by Apple and the iPhone but rather that they wanted to appeal to the people who like the feel of a premium product & make a great looking phone.

100 million is a big number but it’s not time to celebrate yet, still a long road ahead. I believe MS can do it once all the up in arms stuff calms down which of course it will.

Google isn’t dumb, a little arrogant yes but not dumb. They will develop for Windows 8 when the numbers make sense, They are a company with share holders after all. On the other hand if it was up to good old Eric then we would never see a Windows 8 or WP8 app.

The power of the Windows platform has been forgotten slightly (Microsoft’s fault as much as anybody elses) but the power does remain, look at the iPod, It had reached it maximum spread until the Windows client was released which opened it up to the world. How successful would of the iPod & iPhone have been if you could only use one if you owned a Mac? It took a long time for Apple to enable iOS devices to be setup without a computer.

Every company will mock their competitors but they all owe thanks & success to each other.
