It is Aero, Transparency has gone and they’ve removed some drop shadows. That really isn’t even close to being enough to call a step forward. The core of it looks exactly the same and comes over as incomplete. Its a shame but this makes the Windows desktop look even more like a functionality patch. There is nothing there that says unified experience.

Film and the arguments for film will become less and less over time. The important point that a lot of people forget is the medium the viewer uses to watch the product on.
With the prevalence of digital in homes and more importantly cinemas, how do you justify the use of analogue film if the output doesn’t support analogue quality?
