sales are one thing, profits are another. specially when you factor in the manufacturing, developing and advertising costs. Samsung has a much larger profit margine because of their low manufacturing costs, with use of plastic and doing most of the stuff in house. so even if they sell less, they still make more.

This is why i think MS is clever and showed a lot of shit their box can do beyond gaming. at the moment i use my 360 as an entertainment hub and the only game i play on it is Forza.

So if Xbox one is better than ps4 on entertainment stuff, with the inclusion of Bluray etc, i cant see myself getting the PS4 over One because of Killzone or some exclusive game.

Now that both consoles are on par in terms of hardware, i cant see Sony beating MS in software. Sony is just terrible with software.

honestly, it will probably come down to retail price and exclusive games. for me personally tho, Xbox wins. at the moment i use my 360 a lot for watching videos and movies on LoveFilm and NowTV and Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 etc, and with the new xbox being much faster at those tasks, i can see myself using it a whole lot more. also as a Forza fan, i dont think there is much Sony can do to make me give up on Forza

will you really play forza 4 when you have Forza 5?

i used to love Forza 2, but havent touched it since 3 came out, even though i thought i would go back and play on Forza 2 every now and then. Same thing happened with Forza 3. Never touched it after 4 came out.

Sure, no body likes to lose their investments with a new console but realistically, if you are a console player, the jump between 360 and One is going to be huge, so i cant see people wanting to play their old games anyway.

that said, im not fussed because im not a console player. i have a 360 for Forza only so i understand that other people may be more pissed off than i am.

well i have always been a pc player, but when the 360 S came out, i bought one just to play forza and some kinect stuff. happy to say that it has been useful to my living room, if not for gaming.
