It’s been this way most this year already. It rather surprised me too.

It was probably that expensive because of the built-in amp, which most people had no desire for. I thought it was an interesting piece of hardware… but it was completely worthless for my needs. Most of the people interested in an amp probably already have one, or wouldn’t want one that only works with 1 device.
I also liked the overall design, but I wouldn’t be able to figure out where to put a ball in my living room, either. Everything else stacks nicely. Where am I going to put a ball?

For some reason, the GPMAA acronym looks negative, like it belongs to a copyright-bully. Like a cousin to the MPAA or something.

I wanted to use Spotify, but it required a FB account. Therefore, I’m trying All Access out.
For some of us, it’s about as simple as “what works with the stuff I already have”.

Apple, on the other hand, is pioneering a hybrid web and radio service — one that resembles Pandora but melds it with some on-demand features, the sources said.
Can you expand on this? How is this different than Google’s streaming solution? I’m clearly missing something here.

You always could, and without Miracast. It’s called DLNA. It’s not as easy out of the box, sure, but it gets the job done.
And, actually, this works on most things, not just Android.

Nah, lots of the people who blocked GTV blocked it because they’re control whores. It’s on a big screen, and that’s all they cared about. These people are using Flash to play their content, so they can’t be all that concerned about DRM.
The people I have in mind are all the major networks’ websites, along with Hulu.

So, you’re also ignorant. Get a paid Google account if you don’t like ads in your mailbox. What, you didn’t know you could? Shocker.
And then you cite G+? Really? Remember those bullshit MSN pages that they made for everyone? It was their weakass attempt at some kind of social network at the time, and it was made if you had a Hotmail account. I had random people trying to chat with me. Fun stuff.
Besides, G+ is optional. You don’t need it to use Gmail.
Microsoft is about as up front as a car salesman.

And this is coming from someone who spent $70,000 installing solar panels on my house, not to mention buying 3 hybrid cars.
Yep, exactly what I thought. Elitist hipster.
That’s fine and all that you spend all this money on it. Great. Good for you. I applaud when people take initiative, and I’m excited for green energy research.
The difference between me and you? I don’t put myself on some kind of pedestal, and then try to shame others because they aren’t willing to shell out, at minimum, $160k according to your claims of what you did. To most people, that’s a house.
So, once again, f*** off.
PS – Hybrid cars still burn gasoline, you ass. You want high MPGs? Buy an old Geo.

Yeah, so I guess all this work towards solar and wind energy is just because we’re bored, right? And all the EV cars and the work towards hydrogen fuel cells?
Please. There’s plenty of movement towards green energies. There’s no reason to believe this will stop unless you love being willfully cynical to those who don’t fit inside your personal utopia.
When you say shit like “those who think like you” is when I tell you to promptly f*** off. You have no idea how I think. I’m not going to apologize for being a realist.

Tired of the Flash drama. As long as websites are out there that use it, I need it. Once people move everything over to HTML5 video, it’s fine with me, but right now this news that it won’t be officially available on GTV is very disappointing.

I agree with the glitter and makeup, but that’s about it. However, I don’t see that as “sexualizing” her. I see it more like Disney just making a good character into a stupidly boring one. The dumbest part is leaving out her bow and quiver.

Do you know what’s stupid as fuck? Pretending Microsoft is one of the good guys. Yeah, I know you just mentioned they do this “to some extent”, but really, when it comes to Microsoft vs. Google, Microsoft is about a billion times worse.

BTW, you can also get a paid account through Google, which would also strip ads from your GMail.
