Damn this offer is only for new DirecTV customers. Not too big of a fan of DirecTV and this is basically one of those “discounts” where you have to buy something else to get the original discount.

Service packs were always basically Windows Update updates bundled up to a certain point so you wouldn’t have to manually download huge updates as soon as you turn on your computer for the first time, but every once in a while Microsoft would sneak in a cookie to keep things interesting and if anyone was paying attention. So its a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B.

RT was always the marketing name for Windows 8 on ARM so 8.1 won’t change that seeing how all Windows 8 devices will be upgradeable.

Not surprising considering its basically Windows 8 Service Pack 1 but I guess 8.1 sounds better.

Works if you have a compelling looking product that catches the eye and makes people check into the announcement but backfires if the opposite.
Comment
That actually makes sense if not a third party contractor as most of the pics tend to look purposely blurred a bit compared to the final press shots. It could be that they use it to gauge potential interest or reaction ahead of time but some of the leaks have undercut announcements by a couple of hours and kinda take the suspense away from the announcements.

Not yet… Its supposed to bring manual adjustments to the camera in form of a lens.

It seems that the zoomed out map is an over-dramatization of the real data. Whenever you zoom in on the map, it paints a better picture on where the hot spots are at. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to base it off of ratio to twitter users than the general population? This is skewed to incriminate smaller towns while basically giving most if not all major city a free pass.

Didn’t see the beginning at first and thought he was having a seizure then broke his neck. Hmmm if you have a seizure while asleep that killed you would that count as a peaceful and/or painless death. I figured that would be more interesting to comment about than talking about another potential failed try at 3D in phones.

The phone in the teaser pic appears to have a curved screen where the one above by evleaks looks very much flat so maybe.

Can’t believe I’m saying this about Acer but great job on both of those products and the R7 is only $999. Excited to see what other designs come after a whole product cycle with Windows 8 in mind.

Looks really nice and if it wasn’t Acer then I might have actually considered buying it whenever it comes out. Here’s hoping that either Nokia, HP, ASUS, or Lenovo have something similar coming out soon.

Segura should have given himself up once he realized Braun was on second. By him going back and being on second the same time as Braun automatically made Braun out. While the umpire missed the quick tag of Segura when he left second for first, you really have to question why Segura thought it would be a good idea to leave second once Braun was considered out.
Naked Gun Baseball scene was the only thing that came to mind after watching Segura run around lost.
