Microsoft made the mistake of going in different directions with music, offering play for sure and zune and not making them compatible. They should have made the zune service available to all play for sure devices and made the zune a play for sure device. I still think that DRM model is the best DRM model, as it allowed sales and subscription services on a multitude of devices. Zune pass’s keep songs was the most compelling of all subscription services, I just wish they had had a $10 keep 5 instead of $15 keep 10 songs and I would have been all over zune. MS just gives up instead of trying pricing differences or finding why they aren’t doing well, they just give up.
