Am I the only one who doesn’t like the new UI? I tried it out on my iPod touch a few weeks ago and while it looks really nice, I‘m finding it harder to read (or more specifically to browse quickly). I‘m hesitant to upgrade on my Android phone now, though I probably will to get the updates to Hangouts.

Assuming this thing gets resolved quickly HTC should run an ad campaign with the tagline “The phone they didn’t want you to see.”

Per the article, the stock messaging app and browser (as well as the HTC messaging app) were found in violation.

Does anyone know if any other HTC phones are being affected by this? It would be kind strange if the only two phones being held back are the best and most desireable ones.

Considering that this negatively affects an up an coming Taiwanese company that just had a bad year, I think this might be a bit of a third world problem as well. Of the OEM’s HTC was one of the most innovative and I was hoping that they would have a chance to pick themselves up this year.
