I just tried moving my Verizon line to AT&T over the phone. 1.5 hrs later, I finally had service after the rep charged me and signed me up for the wrong plan. Next day, I decided a future with that type of customer service was not wort it and I have now moved to T-Mobile; not only do they let you buy unsubsidized, but they will charge you LESS per month for doing so! I don’t think I’ll leave T-Mo until such time that they collapse (hopefully never though!)

Ah, in that case you may be right, I’ve never seen the grey variant but I imagine it to be less attractive than my white one

As someone who actually owned a Radar, I can tell you it is perhaps one of the best feeling and imo best looking devices ever produced. (and I’ve owned A LOT of devices)

Wouldn’t it make more sense to just do contract-free postpaid? You’d pay less and get more data (albeit less minutes).
I just wish prepaid options from carriers would be more like T-Mo’s. $30 for 5GB (with tethering), unlimited messaging, and 100 mins. AT&T charges $50 for 250 mins, unlimited messaging, and 1GB of throttled 3G data and no tethering. It’s really horrendous.
