The comments on this post are a joke. Those that are judging Apple, from an article that they have nothing to do with, completely ignorant. Those that think Jobs didn’t have input on future devices, completely ignorant.

For those doubting this, imagine the next generation consoles, the PS4, or the Xbox 720, or whatever they will be called, coming out for $99 with a 2 year contract.

Yes, this price seems crazy right now, but look at it as a measuring stick to see how well this concept does, and then when the next Mocrosoft console releases, this could be the only way to get it, which follows the success of smartphones, and locks the customer in for a few years, while allowing the Xbox Live Gold thrives even more.

Before knocking this launch, look beyond what’s happening now, and see the future of gaming, and the new way to compete with these smartphone games.

These interviews, and especially these videos that have been appearing over these past few weeks, the Paul Miller one, the one on the Blackberry 10, and pretty much all videos by The Verge, are groundbreaking, and leading the way on how news should be reported.

I appreciate the fact that your team values quality in articles, from features, to quick reads, to the variety of different themes that pop up (5 minutes, this is my next, what’s in my bag, etc.), each new article is extremely refreshing. Keep these compelling post coming, Josh, I’m
watching from a distance, not commenting as much as others, but still watching, nonetheless.
