Word processing software should be a service; with many competing products. Not one companies service being a ‘standard’ and then they use their monopoly to charge an insane amount of money for access later on.
I applaud Microsoft’s work in this area but it would be terrible if there wasn’t a healthy competition in this area between Office 365, iWork on the Web, Google Docs and any other future competitors.
