I’m experiencing same bugs as you on MacBook Pro 13" (2011).
So far I can say that tagging is great, finally my downloads map can be organised, I’m not using finder tabs much yet, but they really do need to implement a shortcut to merge windows, the battery increase is real and freaking amazing, I’m getting more than 1h-1h.30 out of my Macbook now with average to heavy use. Multiple displays is something I yearned for a long time and love it. iCloud keychain seems like a very nice feature, but I’m not sure either I’m ready to rely on it. There is still occasional freezing and lag, but I’m very sure that this will be my favourite OS in last 5 years upon launch.
Feature wise, there are really only 2-3 new once that you’ll notice, but the changes under the hood is what really impressed me.

For me the design won’t really be a problem, I love the UI and any icon that I hate I could change with or without jailbreak. I guess that Toggles Control Center won’t live long with that blurry rainbow theme as well.
Here is what I am excited about though. MFi Game Controllers! I really think there is so future here. Official Peer-to-Peer Connectivity is kinda nice as well.
Kinda stupid that 90% articles about iOS7 are about design instead of providing us with more info about new APIs

Last Android phone :
SGS3
Android version at the time:
4.1
Pros you liked:
Open, didn’t have to wait forever for a jailbreak to rice it. +USB support.
Cons that made you leave:
Occasional lag, horrible XBMC experience … and it failed to play my 720p+ 10-Bit mkv without stuttering no matter what codec or player. Stopped using after 2/3 months.
Would definitely come back if:
I’m pretty sure I’ll never get another Samsung as long as plastic again, no matter what people say about ergonomics I just hated holding it in my hand vs glassy iPhones. I am considering HTC One though as one of future purchases, the only thing I hate about it is the huge screen. Already tried the 4.3"+ phones category and they are just not for me, i’ll let others fawn over it. As for the “definitely”, after the iPhone 4 was released 95% of my requirements have been covered by any phone.

Zipeg might help you out. Can’t say for sure but one of the Stuffit versions probably does the same and better.

10Bit 1080p mkv. Heck even 720p is failing on files bigger than 550mb for 20min video. BSPlayer or MX Player with software/hardware/hardware+ on international flagship phone SGS4 still haven’t solved it or is a joke in comparison to HD Player Pro or XBMC on iPhone 5/iPad 4 for example.

Use Transmission + Automatic if you ever wanted to avoid uTorrent botnet.
Handbrake is good when muxing, but for conversion I found Permute faster and thus worth it imo.
Use Crossover for whatever you think you’re missing from Windows.
I use Airmail as my main Mail client.
Use AirParrot for whatever you think you can’t do with Airplay. The sound drivers they provide alone are worth it. I prefer it over Beamer, but I guess it depends on your use.
I also like Fresh Feed Pro, but that’s cause I read my RSS on the fly.
Seems other stuff like Unarchiver, MPlayerX and Tweetbot is already mentioned.
