Before that, he was Managing Editor at gaming consultancy Naavik and entertainment editor at Protocol, as well as a prior member of The Verge's tech and gaming news teams for over five years as both a reporter and editor. Nick is also the proud co-parent of an old and glorious tabby named Olga, with whom he resides in Rochester, NY, which it turns out is actually Western New York and not just upstate.
